Disco Ball Soul
The new single from Rebounder out 6/8.
‘Disco Ball Soul’ is the first single from the first proper Rebounder EP, ‘Sundress Songs’. The song, like the whole project, was self produced in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
The video was directed by the band’s drummer, Cobey Arner.

This one had us dancing in the studio from jump street. Many rebounder songs have hip-hop influences/grooves and this is one of them. The lyrics went through a bit of a transformation, initially they were about the frustrations of being a Knicks fan. Funny enough, the evening we shot the video, we were watching the Knicks lose in the playoffs. If our song can evolve and grow, maybe our brothers in orange and blue can as well.
in January Rebounder supported Phoenix for two shows.
In June Rebounder did their first full US headline tour. Recent headline dates include a sold out show in Ohio. In August Rebounder will headline the east coast for the first time, headlining the Bowery Ballroom @ 8/1.
